It's the dawn of a new day at Camp Vix, a summer-camp themed retreat for single adults to seek out their soulmate in a fun and flirty, low-pressure environment! But one of the campers isn't having a very good morning at all- Masao Hako, awakening to discover himself dressed up as the daughter his parents once believed they had.

No, for Masao, who's just received a revelation of his own on the nature of Camp Vix, this environment will be anything other than low-pressure. He'll need to work to better himself through camp activities in order to succeed in the midst of a difficult balancing act. Play into expectations too much, and he'll break long before he ever finds a way out of here. Arouse too much suspicion, and somebody else might just decide to break him first.

Camp Vix is not, after all, a summer camp for singles- but instead, a creation of The Path, a fringe religious group. Its followers are welcomed to recommend important people in their lives who are straying from The Path of the lord to seek correction.  The shiny outer shell is just what its campers have been magically compelled to believe. After all, if they knew what was really going on, and who they really were, they might rebel... just as Masao plans to do.

Loverboy At Camp Vix: Jam Edition was created between 8/10/2026 and 9/23/2026 (not the full jam length due to schedule limitations) for the TofuRocks Trans Masc Protag Jam.

This story is an important one to me, that I've been thinking about for some time- This jam was almost too perfectly catered to the idea, so I set about planning a condensed version that would be completable within the Jam's scope and the amount of work time I'd actually have access to..

What you'll find in Jam Edition is a fully functional Raising Sim style visual novel with two dedicated bad ends, one 'good' end, and a few incidental deaths you might run into. Build your skills carefully to pass (or fail!) checks along the road to the end while keeping morale high and suspicion low. And don't worry too much if you don't make it there- A strong-willed guy like Masao is, of course, more than capable of getting himself stuck in a timeloop before ever admitting defeat.

• Two new OST tracks also by me! 'Things The Forest Lost' and 'Stealing From The House Of The Lord' appear all-new in jam edition, along with three royalty-free music tracks by Kevin Macleod.
• 30,000 words straight from the heart, the longest script I've written for a gamejam yet, and nowhere near enough to tell the full story of Camp Vix- Just enough for you to enjoy for now.

As this is 'Jam Edition' and a 'Prototype Version', you might assume I plan to eventually release a full version, a 'final cut', and you'd be correct. You can expect that version to have a revamped GUI (including a weekly autosave system and choices that indicate what skills will be checked by that choice), many more art and audio assets, many more story branches (including but not limited to a bond system with the other characters), additional skill checks, and most of all, an answer to the question; how did Masao Hako escape from Camp Vix?

Jam Edition is available for free, with optional donation. The final game will have its own itch page, but the game files will also be uploaded to this page, and any donations here that meet or exceed the expected purchase price of $5 USD will receive download access.

Note that Loverboy At Camp Vix uses the same magic system as Entropic Float, but is its own standalone story.
